Honestly, I'm really just looking to join a band that has the same musical tastes with comparable abilities as I do. It would probably help if you liked dogs/cars/beer and LOTS of music. I'm a married man with no kids (except furry ones), and I am really wanting to get back into playing with a group of like minded people to have a good time with and play some great music.
I'm NOT into "screamy" music. If you have to make your voice do things other than sing, I'm not interested.
If you can get "funky" (think Chili Peppers) I like to play a lot of off-beat stuff. Gotta be able to work that bass though!

Influences
I like to think I'm fairly well-rounded, take a look at some of the influences and maybe it'll be apparent. Yes there is more to this list, but if it's WAY off then yeah I probably don't listen to it. Keep in mind I DON'T listen to the radio, I don't like current "popular" music. The last radio station I actually liked was a SIRIUS radio station called "Hair Nation", maybe one other.
