SEEKING
Band to Join, Vocalist, Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Drums, Keyboard, Other.ABOUT
40something bassist. I've played around in a lot of different genres over the years and right now COVID's got me creating some solo material of dark and dank doom metal with some jazz sensibilities, odd time signatures, and even some electronic weirdness thrown in the mix. The project is called Suburban Death March and two EPs, Hangry Chateau and Vol Duh, are available on , spotify, and other streaming services.
Once rehearsing and playing live is a thing again, I think a power trio would be ideal, but open to the right quartet. I can sing a bit, but only if I'm not playing anything too complex at the same time. I would also really love to incorporate my electric upright into it on a few songs. And I've also recently picked up a cheap electric guitar that I'm not half bad with.

You Can't Make Heavy Metal With Synthesizers
You Can't Make Heavy Metal With SynthesizersWhen Iron Maiden visited Poland in the mid 80s it was a big deal having a western metal band in the soviet bloc. And when a fan there told Bruce Dickinson that he wanted to make heavy metal music with synthesizers, Bruce told him in no uncertain terms that you can't do that. A few years later, Maiden released Somewhere in Time, but that's a whole other story. So here's a heavy weird instrumental with some synths in it.
