JC Gafford & Friends has done 4 shows around town including Warner Center Park opening for the Surf City All-Stars. We're working on our 3rd CD which is going to be a double CD package. I play with some of the best people in the business including Chris Ralles (Pat Benatar), RJ Mischo, Paulie Cerra (Joe Bonamassa), Dan Rothchild (Heart, Melissa Etheridge), the legendary Peggi Blue (look her up!) and more. We are slated to bring in Leland Sklar (Lyle Lovett, James Taylor, Jackson Browne) and Jason Ricci (2023 Best Instrumentalist-Harmonica, Blues Music Award winner) on the next CD.

I've got several instruments but I tend to leave instruments to those who are passionate about them. I may throw in some percussion or chords here and there, but the players I work with dominate the playing of instruments. My thing is singing and writing.
