DRUMMER NEEDED FOR ESTABLISHED WORKING CLASSIC ROCK BAND (AVALON)
We are a working band that plays Classic Rock, ie: Stones, Mellencamp, Eagles, ZZ Top, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, Travis Tritt, Brooks and Dunn, Van Morrison, Neil Young, Bob Seger, Fleetwood Mac, Jimmy Buffet, Cheap Trick, Creedence, Kid Rock, Jeff Healey, BTO, Stephen Stills, Skynyrd, George Thorogood, Outlaws, Loggins and Messina, Chuck Berry, Ritchie Valens, Kenny Chesney, Big and Rich etc etc.
We have dates booked from now 3/6/2010 through the summer, both indoors and outdoors.
Our current drummer of 3 years has to quit due to a serious family emergency. If there was any way we could keep him, we would.
We play out 2 times a month and rehearse 1-2 times a week from 6:30 to 9:00 pm depending on the need and schedules of the band members. We practice in Avalon just off Route 65 in the North Hills . We are constantly working on new material so that the set list stays fresh.
4 people in the band sing. If you sing that is a plus, but not a requirement.
We are looking for a drummer who is simple and solid. Someone who can push a song and keep good time.
We also want someone who is a team player and easy to get along with. We don't want any drama queens or kings. Just get along with everyone and be flexible.
