ABOUT

I am primarily a producer working with artists worldwide to bring their musical vision to life through the magic of recording. To that end I have many years of experience producing in the studio and am an accomplished mixing and mastering engineer.

I am also a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist playing drums, bass, guitar and keys. I have fronted my own original bands as lead vocalist and lead guitarist, played and performed in local cover bands (mostly as a singer and guitarist) and have done countless fill in performances as a drummer or bassist.

I am available to discuss production/mixing/mastering for independent artists both local and international.

I am also starting to revisit bringing my original material to life again in live performances so towards that I am interested in drummers and bass players who would have the same goal. I do not wish to play bars and typical nightclubs. Opening for other acts until an opportunity to feature comes up would be the goal playing a well-rehearsed, tight set of original songs with a few specific covers in the mix (examples on my music page).

I am always open to discussion!

Influences

Because I work and play in different genres and produce work for many different artists, influences are hard to specify as the list includes producers like Bob Ezrin, Alan Parsons, Mutt Lange, CLA, Al Schmitt, Tom Scholz, Trevor Horn and many more.

I have long lists of players (guitar, bass, drums) who've inspired me over the years too including Gavin Harrison, Steven Wilson, Andy Timmons, Kip Winger, Bill Bruford, Stewart Copeland, Neil Peart, Geddy Lee, Pat Travers, Albert Bouchard, Buck Dharma, Sting, Mike Portnoy, Eric Johnson, Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck and many others.

Too many bands to name as well but here are a few: Porcupine Tree, Blue Oyster Cult, Pat Travers, Dream Theater, Rush, The Police, Heart, UFO, Tears For Fears, Toad the Wet Sprocket, et al.
