I am 61 years old but don't look a day over 59. Started pounding on pots and pans when I saw the Beatles on Ed Sullivan. The rest is history as they say. I've played in several style of groups including, Pop, Disco, Black Gospel, Southern Gospel and pseudo country. Original and cover bands.

Influences
My biggest influence has been the Beatles and Beach Boys. But have never actually played in either of those type of groups. Would love to though. Also influenced by Gershwin style standards and am probably most suited to that genre right now.
