I've taken lessons with an excellent teacher for almost a year and a half and feel competent enough to play with a band. Currently my husband (bass)and a friend (lead guitar and vocals) play classic to modern rock with some blues thown in. While I am committed to being the best I can, I play music for the shear joy of it and I'm not looking to quit my day job to play several gigs per month though playing out on occasion is definitely viable!
