I am new to the area. I used to play in a folk band called Stillwater as vocalist and mandolin player. I have a fair amount of voice training and am strong on harmonizing or leading. We played fairs and churches. I am always learning new instruments and play them modestly. I started a children's folk band called Sassafras with a wholesome, Christian bent. If anyone wants to revive it with me, I would be thrilled. The other project I am passionate about is recording a group of songs I have been collecting for people who are grieving. I am wanting to put together something gentle, intricate and soul comforting that has the Lord's light in it. If you sound and play like Mark Knopfler or thereabouts and are interested I'd love to harmonize back and forth with you. Till Covid I played with Grove Presbyterian's worship team in Charlotte.
