Sing a new song. My motto everyday. From todays christian which i have been singing alot of lately but also a major variety from classic rock to motown and country to even the way back gene pitney days. Oh yes the blues.
Momma!
My mp3 player had over 800 tunes on it and was stolen from.my truck. I sang all 800 over and over because each one of those songs somehow touched my soul or spirit.
When that song grabs you. Well you know what u can do with it. I feel god didnt give me the gift of playing an instrument but he gave the gift of voice as an instrument.
Im not going to sit here and say i can sing everything anymore as we get older yet ill always give it a try. Someone else on the team just migjt sing it better but i sing from the heart and soul. Sometimes as u well know an audience can set the mood for a song to be warranted.
Those oldies hit the hearts of many sitting at the moose or eagle organizations. Sang at alot of those in florida.
Anyways about me. I just live and love to sing
Point is. I love all kinds of music and feel i will do my best to sing it how i can. I sing everyday. Like a new song to the lord everyday.
Sang with my brothers band many moons ago yet stayed in the karaoke realm to just be able to sing. I can honestly say i could rock the house or make it cry. Lady by k rogers would move the room and black horse under the cherry tree rocked it. Lots of request to sing that one. Won a Bahamas trip singing pat benetar and patsy cline. Even singing creed or even a crooning song won me bar tabs. I really dont drink anymore.
Bon jovi and aretha franklin gave me an audition opportunity to sing at the national anthem at a busch series race in daytona. That was alot of fun.
My son is a bassist and plays everyday. Ill sing with h8m sometimes yet hes into the 80's hairbands.
So anyways about me i love to sing and would like to audion to give it a try again. Wanting to have fun make memories and everlasting friendships.
All while giving thr glory to God for the gift he has giving in me.

My father. He used to sing throughout the house continously. When it rained i would sit in the car with him and my sibs as he would sing
Ricky nelson. Listen to the rhythm of the falling rain.
My brother who never left the house to play with the kids yet opted to sing sing sing with a microphone in his hands 3 dog night or donny osmond. Like everyday.
As far as entertainers
Reba definately. Barbara. Aretha franklin.like singing motown. Pat benetar, stevie Knicks. So many.yet pribably all.musicians in one way or another. I think led zepplin was brilliant. I am a woman that likes probably about all the wonderful sounds of music. Country rock motown blues. So lately christian. And wow have sounds change. I cant get enough of soulfully singing these new songs. Jeremy camp. Big daddy weave. Im awed.
