SEEKINGBand to Join, Vocalist, Lead Guitar, Bass Guitar, Keyboard.
Looking for a "just for fun" or "moderately committed" band, probably in the classic rock vein ... though I'm open to other genres. For some reason, I find myself stuck in the '90s. Gin Blossoms, R.E.M., Soul Asylum and the like. I listen a lot to Pop Rocks on XM.
Anyway, if we play a gig now and again, all the better, but not essential early on. I'd be interested in a band doing original material, too.
I played in high school and college. The one truly remarkable group I belonged to was a Jethro Tull cover band, and we absolutely nailed it. We played a little Canned Heat, Van Morrison and King Crimson, too, among other things. We liked the artsy stuff.
Now playing with a neighborhood garage band.
I like a lot of everything. I'm pretty hard to nail down. If it's good, I don't care what decade it's from.
I can sing a bit of harmony, too, if pressed. :-)

Too numerous and diverse to mention. Right now listening to R.E.M.'s "Superman," Tom Cochrane's "Life is a Highway," Gin Blossoms' "Allison Road" and Steely Dan's "Peg" and "Josie," for example. Trying to revive my interest in funk. That's what I mean.
