I've played many genres of music during these past 40+ years. Symphonic, jazz, country, rock, latin, percussion ensemble. It's all great stuff!! (Update: 11/25/15): "Emerging Artist" status with Dana B Goods and Bartolini pickups. (Update 9/30/16) As of last week, I'm no longer playing with the Reload Horns. My work schedule is just too busy; 7-days/wk. But, I'm always up for "one-off" projects and gigs! The new 6-string project bass is amazing. Would love to hear it in YOUR project!

I'm currently playing bass/harp with "Reload"--a horn-band out of Dayton, Ohio. .reloadcincy.
Also, playing bass/harp for indie band "Strangetunge" from Cincinnati. ://cincymusic/bands/strangetunge.

Instrument experience:

Bass Guitar:

Drums, latin percussion, bass guitar/amp, flute, harmonicas. On the bass, I use a very small rack of goodies, including a Behringer Ultrafex Pro, and TC Electronics M350 effects unit, with just a touch of chorus. My bass amp is an original Sound City B150 tube amp, I purchased new in '75. I play a fretless maple skunk-stripe Ric, and recently completed a very special 6-string (project) bass. Drums: I have several snare drums, including an Omar Hakim (Pearl) Mahogany, a brass piccolo (Pearl) free floater, a VERY special custom Teak stave shell (Pearl hardware) free floater (the teak is from a '50's Chris-Craft Commander), and a couple steel-shell snares. Cymbals range from Wahun to Zildjian to Paiste to Sabian; all sizes. I also have a cool collection of alarm bells, glockenspiel, latin percussion, and various noisemakers... :)

Past Events

I will be playing bass with Strangetunge (a well-known Cincinnati indie band) for their CD release concert on 12-12-15, at the Southgate Revival House, in Newport, KY. Go to to sample their music!

Will be sitting-in on bass for the Buford Country Opry show. I played drums for a similar-type show in Hillsboro, OH, for eight years every Saturday night, so I know the routine. Rehearsal at 3pm, break at 5pm, gig at 7pm until 10pm. Hope to see you there!

I will be playing bass with the SEWERHAWKS at the Southgate Revival House, in Newport, KY for a blues tribute to the late BB King. Other bands on the bill, as well. Some killer musicians on this show!
