Experienced drummer & vocalist available for pro situations/working bands
Versatile and motivated musician looking for an established working band in the greater Portland area or beyond. Will travel for the right situation. I have over 20 years of professional experience in both original and cover bands, with proficiency in many genres/styles, including: rock, Motown, pop, funk, disco, R and B, blues, and country. I am also skilled at singing both backing and lead vocals while drumming and am known for my good ear, finesse, dynamics, being solid in the pocket, and playing the kit like a true instrument.
I am seeking a general business band (weddings, corporate events, private functions, galas, dance clubs, etc.), but would also consider a promising original project, tribute act, singer/songwriter situation, if the band is established and performs frequently. I recently relocated from the east coast and am in search of a busy, motivated team with good attitudes and realistic goals.
I am looking to gig multiple times per week. I am also available for touring situations and studio work. I am an extremely reliable professional who is always on time and prepared for both rehearsals and performances. I provide pro gear, pro skills, and a pro attitude. I am an expert in performance quality, as well as client interaction; a team player who meshes well with all band mates and participates in song development, critique, song selection, producing, etc.
