I play with a old country/western swing dance band. Our guitar player retired. So we are looking for somone who plays good rhythm and lead as well as sings. Practice about once a month and gig once a month in Pittsburg, Winnsboro, Gilmer area. We have a bassist, fiddler, drummer and occasional steel player. Need the guitar/vocalist to round out the group.
In addition, I'm looking for band to gig with. Jazz and swing preferable. Can do some lead vocals.
I enjoy working with smaller bands in low volume- background music type gigs such as social events, wineries and brew pubs.
