I am an extremely attentive player, and have played many live gigs without any proper rehearsals. It makes me a good match for a singer-player who improvises or invents mashups on the spot.

My kit is very quiet, deliberately set up that way to play with acoustic-oriented, singer-songwriter type gigs. Getting that low-key "album sound" at a live gig is my happy place. I try very hard to make each tune sound different, percussion-wise.

I've played keyboards much longer than drums, but these days I enjoy just adding a Hammond B3 solo here and there while maintaining rhythm chores with my left hand and my feet. My kit is set up for spontaneous switching to organ with my right hand.

I'm a good spontaneous harmonizer. I'd say that I'm somewhat dull as a lead singer, but my lack of a distinct vocal character lets me ride on top of all kinds of lead singers' voices consistently.

I have no illusions about my strengths and weaknesses, and I'm a really good listener. I moved to Bellingham recently.
