I have always been passively looking for "something more" to fulfill my need to sing. I've done the talent show thing, the competitions. It's not my thing. To me, vocal work is an art form; how can anyone say one instrument is simply the best? I don't have an ego, competing to be the best just isn't who I am as a musician. I was a Finalist during the 2006 Spokane Idol Competition and then won 3rd Place (cash winning, yay!) as a Finalist in the Cannon Idol competition in 2009. Fun yes, but again but I would love something more meaningful and not about being the "best" but about being influential, setting a mood, adding to an environment and making people happy! I suppose that is why I love praise music so much. It isn't about vocal acrobatics, it is about the Holy Spirit, connecting soul with Maker through inspiration in the song. So much more than just a voice. It's an experience. It makes or breaks the charge of a service, in my opinion.

I'm looking to fulfill the need to sing my heart out somewhere. I'm not looking for fame, am not starry eyed. Just looking for fulfillment and added richness in the experience that is life. Need more?

of them into my own unique style.
