ABOUT

Hello Bandmix!! Just an overly passionate drummer here who is always looking to meet new musicians. Lots of experience on stage and touring with many bands across the country starting at a young age and have played at festivals such as SXSW and Summerfest. I also have a degree in music, jazz performance. I have collaborated with lots of great musicians and there's nowhere else I'd rather be than on stage with like-minded musicians -- could that be yooou? (Woah, I feel like this is match all of a sudden). I was nominated for best drummer at the 2014 MAMAs.

I also probably should say I'm a girl...who hits drums. Because that is something people tend to marvel over.

I like to think I specialize in percussion instruments - I know how to accompany solo/acoustic acts tastefully and currently play with a wide variety of both groups and solo artists in need of percussion other than a full drum kit.
...in addition to guitar and bass. I teach drums/percussion, guitar and bass privately so I'm constantly playing and bettering myself that way. I'd love to be in a group with other multi - instrumentalists where we could possibly switch instruments up during a set.

So many. My main thing is drumming and I have always admired Carter Beauford, Neil Peart, Luke Holland, Tony Royster Jr, JoJo Mayer, Taylor Hawkins, I'm big into DCI/Drum Corps.

EQUIPMENT

My main kit is a 5 piece DDrum Reflex kit, Zildjian cymbals, Ludwig/Gilbralter hardware. AA Meinl cajon and auxiliary percussion like woah :)

I have basses and guitars and amps, pedals and kazoos too but I feel like I'm typing way too much :)
