Updated 20th of August 2021:

Haven’t been active on this site since January but have decided to test the waters again.

Currently am involved with two projects, seeking musicians for either group. One is mostly a cover situation and the other is an original project. Feel free to reach out to me by any means, I am pretty down to earth and am not looking to start any sort of drama. I just want to play. My name is Jeff and my number is (978)771-4548.

Started a folk inspired group called the “Grog Tones” earlier in the year, google us or something, we’ve had a decent amount of gigs the last few months. Next to no pay but we have a lot of fun. I (Jeff) sing and play acoustic guitar and there is also a harmonica player (Jason) and a banjo player (Tom) involved. Our main focus is just to play out and have fun. Our current set consists of Irish drinking and rebel songs, old American folk standards, a couple classic rock songs thrown in there, and have recently started branching into some Chicago blues stuff. We like to play songs that are generally pretty simple and fun. We play a lot of three hour gigs and open mics in and around Salem, NH right now. It’d be cool to meet and jam with another musician or two interested in playing out with us some time, be it for a small set or the whole night. We don’t expect much commitment from any one, come and go as you please. Just be cool and play! Would be awesome to add some harmonies to the mix too.

Below is a random assortment of songs we like to play.

Drunken Sailor
Yakety Yak
Kansas City
Hello My Baby
Black Velvet Band
The Gambler
Irish Rover
Dirty Old Town
Ace of Spades
Whiskey in the Jar
For What It’s Worth
Down by the Riverside
Folsom Prison Blues
and more.

Second project is an original thing. We don’t really have any direction right now but are just trying to focus on writing and recording and possibly playing at some open mics. I am currently living in North Andover, MA and Jon the guitarist and mix master lives in Belmont, NH. We are just taking it song by song right now. Playing mostly acoustic until we find additional like minded musicians.
