Coming from a diverse range of musical backgrounds and instruments, there are many different artist and bands who have unknowingly influenced the sound of Jerry Val which has been moving in and out of various genres such as alternative, pop-rock, blues, metal, indie, folk, jazz and straight out rock-n-roll. From electric guitars integrated with acoustic piano, keys and other instruments, the songs employ in an artistic manner to seemingly tell a story, turn phrases and connect emotions.
