ABOUT

I am a very well known guitarist from the Knoxville Tennessee music scene spanning the early 80's to the present, working the club scene and recording tons of original material in the recording studios as well as performing live shows with the large number of hair metal, arena rock and progressive techno rock bands, musicians, and groupies, who comandeered the Knoxville / Slyman's sex, drugs, and rock n roll music scene. During the last Decade I saw a huge potential for success as the demand for high spirited, good time panty dropping arena rock anthems and iconic hair metal hits were being neglected by every "band" on the scene as they opted to anesthetize the masses with fist pumping anthems such as Wagon Wheel (pumping a fist to the balls, because it was always that painful to sit through) ????????, as well as the fact that the same musicians came to their own gigs and actually performed wearing the same smock they wore all day long at their Wal-mart job, so I grabbed my top tier musician friends, grabbed my Les Paul, grew out our hair, threw on size 30"x32" skinny jeans, bandanas and spandex, amassed a set list of hit hair metal songs that no band dared try to cover and we performed them note for note, while delivering visually entertaining stage shows mimicking the concerts that astounded us at the Civic Colosseum 30 years earlier and it was a monster success. We packed the most coveted clubs & venues and collected thousands of dollars performing every weekend for years. We became one of the most sought after performing acts that ever worked the local and regional scene. Oh yeah, and the chicks would offer us crazy as Hell acts of decadence to show their appreciation and support for our band, the music no other bands really covered, and the party that came with the whole scene.
