ABOUT
Hello. I am a 50 year old guitarist looking for a "part time" band made up of people who play for fun and possibly an ocassional gig. Honestly, I would rate myself as a fair to middle level guitarist. I play mostly rythm but have played lead in the past (I have played as one of two guitarist, and as the lone guitarist in working bands). I do have experience and have played gigs in some of the local bars over the years (i.e., Third Base, Mack's Hideaway, The Pit Stop, etc.) in addition to larger venues (i.e., Pheonix Hill and Jim Porters). If I have a strength its my musical versitility in the rock genre. I the past I have played everything from Seager..to Skynard.. to Van Halen..to U2..to Collective Soul..to Heart..to Allanis Morisette..to Kate Perry..to Michael Jackson..to Kid Rock..the Doobie Brothers..to AC/DC.. to Theory of a Deadman..to Maroon 5, to Zepplin, etc., etc., etc..... Also, I am easy to get along with and really enjoy playing with good people. I am married and stable, honest and reliable. I also have good gear though some of it is old like me, but like me, I still think that it sounds pretty good (lol). I don't do any type of drugs and prefer not to be in that environment. I'm not judging people, I just choose not to go down that road. I live in the Pekin area but woud be willing to drive into Jeff, New Albany, Georgetown, Clarksville, Corydon, or other similar distances.
