ABOUT

Looking to join a band playing Classic rock. I Had a band for many years playing 50s, 60s (see below) and played many gigs. I want to get back to that. I also ran an Elvis tribute band (I was NOT Elvis) so I know a lot of Scotty Moore tricks. I would also be interested in an acoustic group to play outdoor gigs (Art Night, Farmer's Markets, etc.). Acoustic duo playing Van Morrison, James Taylor, Acoustic 50s and 60s, Dylan, Taj Mahal, old blues, anything else that works. Contact me for specifics.

Influences

Band influences include 50s, 60s and most other classic rock and blues as also Elvis. Acoustic influences are definitely Hot Tuna, Taj Mahal, Brownie McGhee, Rev Gary Davis, Mississippi John Hurt as well as more contemporary finger style artists like Tommy Emmanuel, Arlo Guthrie, Tom Paxton, Phil Oaks.
