Just a local woman seeking a hobby or profession. Music is my life, I was taught by THE best Mrs. Janet Davis through Shenendoah University for many years. I also played the piano for about 8 yrs but it's been a while since I've sat down at one. Not really interested in playing piano anymore but i can read music well so I guess that's a plus.
My genre of music to me is still unknown....I like to sing a little bit of everything, but my goal in life is whatever I sing I want to come across as a message, something you can relate to, or inspiring. I enjoy duets very much, love songs especially =))
*Proud to say I used to be a part of this choir*
The Blue Ridge Choristers
From its founding in 1988, the
Shenandoah Conservatory Arts Academy
Children?s Choir program has grown
from a single choir for children into one
encompassing three auditioned choirs
for children ages 5 to17. The choral
program strives to teach age-appropriate
singing techniques while introducing the
children to the best of traditional, classical,
sacred, and contemporary choral
repertoire. The upper level choirs in the
program have performed in festivals and
venues in New York (Carnegie Hall),
Philadelphia, Winston-Salem, Richmond,
Gatlinburg, and numerous other sites.
The choir performing in tonight?s concert
is an ensemble selected from the
most advanced choir in the children?s
choral division of the Academy.
