I play the bass guitar. I played in a fairly eclectic rock cover band for 15 years, but since moving back to the US a few years ago I’ve been playing more Americana/blues in unplugged format due to the folks I’ve fallen in with. I love my music mates, but would really like to add some plugged in full band activity. I’m looking to enjoy myself, but would like the occasional gig to bring some focus to things. I’m pretty flexible musically, and feel no need to attach labels or limit myself musically. I’m an older guy but not ageist, would be happy to play with anybody regardless of age, sex, race, ethnicity etc. who enjoys making music. I’m not shocked by weed or alcohol and don’t judge. Ideally hoping to do a weekly practice, and am extremely flexible about day and time.

I’m a cover band type of guy. Much of my musical life has been in Europe, so I’ve got fairly diverse musical tastes. I’d be happy to play rock, blues, Americana, reggae (although I haven’t much experience with it). Anything from Rolling Stones to Red Hot Chili Peppers to Jason Isbell to Kacey Musgraves to Amy Winehouse to Cake to Keb Mo is fine with me!
