My first solo gig was in 1975 in Boston. I spent a year braving the bars alone till I took on a road gig as a drummer in a country band. I spent several years on the road and in clubs from Boston to Phoenix and points in between with various bands on various instruments, finally settling down in Western NY.
I wrote my first song at 15 years of age and have grown existentially from there,
Although I was and still am proficient in other fields, it always comes back to the music. From drums, bass, rythym and lead guitar to even a little flute and sax, self taught, self motivated to create that special song.
Okay, so that's a little hoakie but the bottom line is, I love playing and creating music.
I have a small 24 track digital studio set up in a spare room where I get lost for hours at a time.
Looking for a band or another individual (DUO) to play locally and am able to travel too. I sing lead or backup and can pick out the harmonies in an instant. Following a progression is simple which has allowed me to sit in with various bands in a moments notice without having praticed the material. I love music. It's that simple.

Influences
Lee Roy Parnell and other blues and Southern Rock artists. James Taylor,Toby Keith, Brad Paisley etc. I know all the country standards and LOVE old style straight ahead Rock N Roll and Blues. Faniliar with most 60's 70's covers in Rock, easy listening and other styles. Enjoy learning new material. I also lie country swing. (Asleep at the Wheel)
