I was classically trained as a violinist for 18 years and have taught myself piano by ear along the way. I can read sheet music, but I'm much more comfortable improvising either off of guitar/piano chords or when given a key. I'm not really interested in country or bluegrass, although folky stuff like Mumford and Sons is fine. I would love to join a heavy rock band as a violinist and add something unique to the traditional rock band set up. I'm open to lots of possibilities. Just looking for something different, high energy, expressive, and FUN!
