ABOUT

I don't consider myself an instrumental expert. In fact Me and the late great Lou Reed have something in common in that he said that he played guitar to support his music and when it comes to all the musical instruments I play, I am no different. People see all the musical instruments I play and yet are surprised to find out I'm no Jimi Hendrix or guitar officianoto. Like in one of my songs "The Blame Somebody Blues" when people see me play it, their like "Man! You sure got great technique, your really good" but the fact is, I'm playing the chords and slides simply because they're the best way for me to say what I'm trying to say without missing my lyrics. I'm using very easy chords most of the time. You get all mixed up in fancy methods and fingering and stuff, you tend not to focus on what your trying to say is the issue with me. Get it? Me, I'm like "what works best or what does the job?"

We can jam together, still have fun and get the job done in the studio whether your expert or not makes no difference to me. I say the song message is far more important and the enjoyment you and I get from it. So when and if we meet for an audition, don't feel all jittery around me and try to impress me with your ability to play. I only want to know if your interested in playing the song through together that brings enjoyment and success for all involved. That's me.

If you can add to a song and help me make it sound good or better fine. Beginner or seasoned pro, makes me no difference. Can you learn to play a song and keep up with me is all that important. I'm interested in first seeing you as a work for hire contract player in the studio and if that works out, then we can be on stage somewhere together.

Type of music:
I am a contemporary Christian Artist and would like to be surrounded by like minded Christians as well. Smoking, drinking not alright. Love to play some secular songs for fun but very serious about the gospel message in song. I hope that you can use my work as your platform to go further if thats your goal as well or stay on for the long hall. Interested? Lets talk. Drop me a line here.
