SEEKINGBand to Join, Vocalist, Bass Guitar, Drums, Keyboard.
Guitarist/Songwriter starting a band.
Pro level musicians only, please.
The goal is to be full time working musicians and leave the day job behind at some point down the road.
Good stuff in the works; I'm writing short form straight to the point rocknrock, other rock, bluesy psychedelia inspired noisy rock, pop rock, rocky rock, edgy dissonant off the wall rock, bluesy groovy stoner pop, country and western swing/rockabilly, etc. Sometimes a song is an admixture of any of the above, but not genre stacking.
Material is always in development and I get ideas regularly. I write and/or work on arrangements every day.
I’m shooting for catchy, cool, distinct and very tight, not hackneyed, not amateur, not corporate or predictable nor overly derivative and out of date and definitely much better than Indie/Alternative stuff that I consider to be amateur garbage.
If you're looking for a band to join that sounds like your favorite bands this is likely not going to be it. It won't sound like my favorite bands either. It will, however, be better than the new stuff that's out there.
If you are looking towards being a full time pro (write record tour repeat) I think I can get us there. Within 6 months of launching gigs I believe we'll be getting attention and hopefully revenue. I do have a plan laid out on how to proceed and get to that level.
