Jennifer Garza has truly experienced life on a different level. Growing up as a Houston native, she encountered many obstacles to overcome. She likes to view these experiences as "lessons from God." Without her experiencing these lessons, we would not have discovered the beautiful spirit she has become. Through the journey of her adventurous life, Jennifer continued to keep God in her heart and music in her soul! This woman has been given a valuable gift. The gift of music!

"Music was a major outlet for me growing up. For me, it's like an escape to an expression of reality! Words cannot describe the joy it brings!" Jennifer explains. This musician definitely dances to her own rhythm. With influences from Prince, Donnie Hathaway, 2pac, and Lauryn Hill to Beethoven, Selena, Santana, and Nirvana, she has gathered the styles and sounds of many different genres to create some music of her own.
 
The eclectic songstress studied music with some of Houston 's most sought after instructors. Taking private lessons, she studied Suzuki style piano training. A very disciplined technique developed to train the student's ear, as well as sight and stride. Jennifer also includes classical compositions in her studies, as well; as she describes has "sharpened her skills as a piano player." Her devotion and love for music drives her to spend countless hours everyday practicing in attempts to perfect her skills at the piano. Marching down her musical journey with excitement, she definitely takes her music very seriously.
 
This musicologist has a very soulful, captivating and tasteful vocal talent, as well. She also studied a unique form of training known as "speech level vocal training." It is a technique created to build a singers' ability to sing effortlessly through their entire vocal range. A method in which many professional singers across the nation have studied and use today. The singers' skills in music combined with her style and grace amounts to extraordinary!
 
Enjoying the beautiful gift of music, Jennifer intends to share that gift with the world as much as possible. Music has begun to manifest through her soul and become a big part of her life. As she likes to say, "Life is a journey through time.... and MUSIC is my destination!"
