I am interested in forming a small blues band with the right group of people. While I have a strong background in rock and roll, I am mellowing with age and a good blues band is just cool.
I am also a big fan of producing original music with a few covers thrown in for legitimacy. There is nothing more rewarding than creating solid original music that gets people dancing.
I am into music for the sake of music – gigs and money will follow if the band is tight and gets the job done. The key is to find the right people, with similar goals, without drama, drugs, alcohol and egos.
My first goal is to assemble the band and work on a few covers and original tunes with the secondary goal to record 10 songs to CD for promotion. Nothing meaningful will happen without a CD.
I play rhythm and lead guitar (and bass) and I am willing to alternate between playing all three instruments as needed.
If you are willing to be a team player and seriously work toward a common goal, give me a call to explore the possibilities.
Thank you,
Jim

I Don't Care - A Jim Hart Original
I Don't Care - A Jim Hart Original Track number: 1 Year: 2004 Album: Copyright (c), James Hart, 2004, All Rights Reserved Genre: Rock
This is one of my rock tunes recorded back in 2004 - I am using an Alesis drum unit and I played the bass, rhythm and lead parts myself. Not bad for an old guy :)
