Jim was born and raised in Tampa, Fl. He has been performing the oldies for 50 years. In 1959 he formed The Satellites, Florida’s premier oldies band. The Satellites received national Billboard attention in 1960 with their 45RPM recording “Moody”. In the later years the band performed all over Florida opening and backing many of the national oldies acts including: The Drifters, The Coasters, The Diamonds, The Tokens, Frankie Ford, Ray Peterson, Bobby Lewis, Little Anthony & The Imperials, The Platters and more. Jim performed in Las Vegas for six months during 2003. Jim performs the music you grew up with, 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, classic rock, blues, standards, rockabilly, country and variety. He performs with his guitar, vocal harmonizer, drum machine and Bose PA. Jim interacts with the audience and can please just about any age group. He now resides in Dawsonville, Ga. with his wife, Patti, and is available to perform for your next activity or event.
