ABOUT

Experienced solid drummer with years of experience performing and recording in a wide variety of situations. My best asset is the ability to play dynamically and musically. I am a solid time keeper but I see drumming as far more then keeping time. I try to create very musical drum parts that will enhance what the rest of the players are doing. I also have a great "can do" attitude with a solid work ethic and always work well with my band mates. No band has ever been made great by an ego but plenty have been destroyed by them. Personally I am a committed Christian that has been faithfully married to the same wonderful woman for 25 years and I will bring no baggage or bad habits to the band.

I'm not the fastest or flashiest player but I can cover the part well and am easy to work with. (507) 360-5382. Email is heyjimlive.

EQUIPMENT

I own 4 drumsets and my main gigging set is a 6 pc Pacific FXR birch kit. I choose how much of it I use and my cymbals, snare(s) and tunings to fit the style and venue I'm playing. I have a full set of drum mics, mixer and vocal processor that I use when needed. I have a DW jazz kit I mainly use for church, a Pacific beater set I use for practice, and Roland V drums in my studio I use for teaching.
