I'm a drummer, mostly a kit player but I do pretty well with hand percussion also. I also play bass decently as a second instrument, but I don't know theory or anything. I'm looking for like-minded musicians to start up a project. All instruments welcomed, the freakier the better! My influences are so diverse, it's hard to say what I want. Something complex but not showy and pretentious, a jazzy, heavy dark edge and deep groove, strong rhythm section, avant grade/experimental leanings, real instrumentation with some electronics thrown in to keep it modern and interesting, something unique and creative, good chemistry with other members.....ok I'll stop :)

Instrument experience:

Bass Guitar:

5-piece maple kit, Korg Wavedrum Oriental, various hand percussion instuments, drum machine, keyboard (would LOVE to get a Moog one day), fretless Fender Jazz Bass. I also recently got the KORG GADGET app on my iPad which is mini recording studio that utilizes 12-15 synths/drum machines that allow me to create, record, or loop pretty much any sound/rhythm/soundscape you can imagine. Incredible technology that's super easy to use.
