female vocalist needed for 70s 80s funk/disco band. If you are looking for a band to make a living, then this is probably not for you.
Sure the money comes in handy when you get paid but not priority.
Looking to play songs along these lines: Bad girls-Donna Summer,
Boogie Oogie Oogie- A Taste of Honey, Boogie Shoes- KC and the sunshine band,
Brick House- The Commodores, Come and get your love- Redbone, Dazz- Brick,
Give it to me – Rick James, Good times- Chic, Got to be real- Cheryl Lynn,
Groove line- Heatwave, He’s the greatest dancer- Sister Sledge, I want your love- Chic,
Jungle Love- Morris Day and the Time, Lady Marmalade- Patty Labelle,
Play that funky music- Wild Cherry, Rock Steady- Aretha Franklin, Roller Coaster- Ohio Players,
Slide- Slave, White Horse- Laid Back,
Looking for Male and Female singers (if you play an instrument the better).
Looking to practice 1X a week and possibly gig 1 to 2X a month (negotiable)
Doing homework is a priority so that we are ready to go thru songs during rehearsals.
Really want to focus on the great funk/disco music
