Seasoned drummer. Some studio but mostly bands from a young age. Mostly classic rock but some rock a billy and a little blues, jazz. and pop. I don’t try to play like someone else but if it is a classic, one must not deviate so much as to diminish the tune. Also, even in smaller venues I think it is important to deliver technically but also to bring stage presents ....showmanship. It is the difference between someone standing like a statue playing and someone who is playing and grabs the audience to their feet.
I do play a fair rhythm guitar but don’t market myself as such. But on some thing s it can be an asset.

Influences
Led Zepplin for their signature of light and heavy and simple but driving drums of John Bonham. Beatles they did everything from rock to waltz to ballads. One of my favorites is Queen, for everything. Of course I like lots of music since. 80,s and 90’s had some terrific tunes as well.

EQUIPMENT
Current drum kit is Mapex (previous kits included Ludwig, Pearl, a couple of lesser kits.). I strictly use Zildjan Cymbals, my standard set up is 14.5 high hats, 18” crash, fast crash, splash, ride 21”, and a China. I have roto toms that can be added depending on the music. I’m considering a Gretch kit, the older Renown kit from a couple years back. They changed a couple years ago and I don’t like the new suppression’s. Another possible upgrade is changing to Zildjans new hybrid cymbals in part with the balance Being current K’s. Additionally, I also have double pedal on base, a Harbinger PA system, a Fender Champion Amp and a Line 6. My electric guitar is a Gretch G5420 hollow body. I have a Fender Acoustic 6 and a Harmony 12 string. I also have Ann assortment of mics and stands, some other equip.
