Dear Prudence (Cover)
Dear Prudence (Cover)In May 2020 during the covid outbreak I asked a few very talented friends of mine if they would be interested in recording a cover song basically for something to keep us all a little engaged musically and to have some fun while things were shutdown. The only direction we had was to do this at everyone’s leisure so as not to be tied to a schedule and that each player would be recorded separately with only me and each musician at the sessions to keep us all as safe as possible and each musician play the song any way their hearts desired. We recorded at Czar's 505 and at Duckhead Recording Studio (aka my basement lol)in Saint Joseph Michigan. The drummer started tracking to the original track manipulated to time align to a click track. Each player there after would have the rough mix to practice with from the sessions before them. Please enjoy their take on The Beatles classic “Dear Prudence” The Players Darren Lee Tyler/Vocals. Mark Pitcher/Guitars. Karl Hess/guitars. Rich Pollard/Bass Guitar. Jeff Harris/Piano/Organ. Joe MacMillan/Drum Kit.

I Believe In Father Christmas
I Believe In Father ChristmasI Believe in Father Christmas (Cover) Produced, engineered, mixed and mastered by Gary Callender at DuckHead Recording Studio 12/24/2014 Vocals - Bruce Bigford Guitars - Karl Hess Keyboards/Synths - Craig Harris Programing - Gary Callender "I Believe In Father Christmas" is a song by Greg Lake (most famously a member of King Crimson and Emerson, Lake & Palmer), with lyrics by Peter Sinfield. Although it is often categorised as a Christmas song this was not Lake's intention. Lake claims to have written the song in protest at the commercialisation of Christmas. Sinfield however, claims that the words are about a loss of innocence and childhood belief. The song is often misinterpreted as an anti-religious song and, because of this, Lake was surprised at its success. As he stated in a Mojo magazine interview: "I find it appalling when people say it's politically incorrect to talk about Christmas, you've got to talk about 'The Holiday Season'. Christmas was a time of family warmth and love. There was a feeling of forgiveness, acceptance. And I do believe in Father Christmas."

Creep (Radiohead Cover)
Creep (Radiohead Cover)This was one of the first Songs I recorded at DuckHead. This was from around 2004. Before I used any computers for recording. It features my wife Jean Callender on vocals, Tom Wright on guitars, Craig Harris on synthesizers and John Howland Sr. on Drums. I actually played the bass on this song. It is an acoustic cover of Radiohead's "Creep". In reality it is more a cover of The Pretenders cover of the song.
