ABOUT

I make my living playing music so if you have a money making gig please let me know. I also write music and I'm always looking for interesting original projects. I play drums, guitar or bass. From 2002 until 2020 I played drums with Screamin Daisys from Lancaster PA. I played drums with Katz 22 from Harrisburg PA from May 2021 until October 2021. I currently play drums with the band ZERO and electric guitar in Jim Rhoads One Man Band karaoke as well as acoustic guitar with singer Chris Vogel. I filled in on bass with a band called Whisky Train for their reunion show in 2013 and I played bass with Quentin and the Barnstromers in 2004. Call me! 717-665-3330. Email: rhoadsmusi at aol
I also own a vintage guitar shop in Manheim PA. Used and vintage instruments, repairs, lessons, etc...
I recorded a solo CD called "Action" and I played and sang everything on the CD as well as wrote all the songs. There are two audio samples located on this page. One is a prog instrumental and the other is a punk rock thing. Both are from my "Action" CD.
I have played live in many parts of the US including CBGB's in NYC, The 9:30 club in Washington, City Lights in Fort Lauderdale as well as many others I simply can't recall. I played with a band in Los Angeles called Spike Irish for a short time back in the 80's when hair was very important. Starting around 1980 I have averaged about 100 live shows a year with various acts.

DRUMS: 1971 Ludwig sky blue pearl maple kit. All DW hardware, Zildjian cymbals. I use in-ears and have extensive experience live and in the studio playing with a click track. GUITARS, Hallmark Red Baron, Hallmark Wingbat, various custom made Rhoads Music guitars. BASS, custom made Rhoads Music 50's style P-bass, various others.
