Band to Join, Vocalist.

I’m trying to carve out more time for music, and would love to find a local vocalist or perhaps vocalist/instrumentalist to collaborate with. I have limited experience gigging, but am open to the idea if things click in that direction. Would prefer an acoustIc duo situation or simply accompanying a strong vocalist (which I am unfortunately not), in part for the simplicity of coordination and in part because I love what can be achieved when good music is performed by a voice and an instrument or two.

I primary play things in the broad genres of rock/alternative/folk, but enjoy the thought of creating engaging covers sourced from a wide variety of styles/genres. i grew up on ‘80s glam/hair rock, followed by metal, and then ‘90s alternative rock and grunge. Think MTV Unplugged or VH1 Storytellers, although again I’m quite open to other styles and eras.

If I had to list influences (which I don’t but I will) I’d include:

John Mayer, The Lumineers, Tom Petty, Metallica, Counting Crows, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Radiohead, Green Day, Soundgarden, The Goo Goo Dolls, Mat Kearney, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Smashing Pumpkins, Ed Sheeran, James Blunt, Adele, Kaleo, CCR, Foo Fighters, Bob Dylan and many more.
