Band to Join, Vocalist, Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Bass Guitar, Keyboard, Upright bass.ABOUT
Retired but ready to jam, and rock out. I have been playing off/on since 10. I have played in many working general business bands over the years, and a few all original projects. Most of my experience is with Rock, and country music, but I feel I am very versatile as long as the music is good. I have not been very musically involved in much since my kids were born over past 15 years. I actually had sold all my drum kits about 6 years ago because lost interest. I become more involved in learning and playing guitar. This past year I retired from regular work and created time to return to drumming. Over the past year I have reinvented my whole drumming style, and techniques. Practicing several hours daily over past year I am now playing better in every way then I ever played since I started. So my near future goal is to drum with a working band to earn some living money. I am very flexible what that may look like. Open to explore any opportunities. I am also open minded regarding what type music is played. Just want to work part-time and have a good time. Right now I am also open to being involved with any type musical activity, and/or, project. Does not need to be anything real formal. I would even just enjoy jamming with some accomplished musicians. I am 60 years young. Don’t let that fool you because I have very eclectic taste in a variety of music. I enjoy classic rock to modern rock and even a bit of metal. I really enjoy progressive and alternative especially alternative/grunge from the 90s. I enjoy any rock with a jamming groove. I really enjoy more contemporary country, and have good success working in this genre. I grew up in the 80s so always enjoyed some of the better iconic 80’s bands, as well as, being a huge fan of 80’s alternative, and new wave music. I do not consider myself a jazz drummer, but can fake it to cover a few more jazzy numbers. I am a professional who is very educated, and very mature. I am not a heavy drinker of alcohol, and I’m fairly clean cut. I have a family and my wife is also a musician. That’s how we met back in mid 90s. She is a phenomenal singer, with a focus on country. We met when involved together in a musical project writing original songs. We played often throughout the years together in same working bands. So she is a music lover, and gets the whole band thing. I have plenty of availability right now. Again open to discuss any possible projects, opportunities, etc.

EQUIPMENT
Standard 5-Piece PCP MainStage Fusion style drum kit with Sabian cymbals. This is really just my practice kit going forward.
I have my own Peavy floor monitors. I would like to transition to an “In-Ear” monitor ear piece.
I had recently sold my main gig kit which was a Pearl Master Custom 5-piece with rack. I am now looking to purchase a new kit in near future.
