Drummer in my mid-30's, with a family and a 9-5 job. I've been playing since I was 11. I have played all types of cover music and original tunes too.
Looking for a local band to play covers for fun. Practice once a week, gigs once a month sounds good to me. No drama, no BS, please. My influences are wide open, but to paraphrase Mick, if it's Rock & Roll, I like it. As long as the songs we play get the crowds up and dancing (and make the bar owners happy), I'm happy too.

Influences
Everything from Aerosmith to ZZ Top, the 50's to the 10's. My iPod has classic rock, new rock, latin, jazz, blues, acoustic, R&B, soul, Motown, electronic. Favorite bands are Led Zeppelin, Dave Matthews Band, Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters, but I love to play Motown or Classic Rock as well.
EQUIPMENT
Pro gear - Yamaha drums (anywhere from 4-6 piece), Sabian cymbals, percussion toys. I'm ready for my Modern Drummer spread. Reliable transportation.
