I'm a mature musician who pays attention to the details. I am organized, professional in my approach to music and performance, objective, and thick skinned. I am looking for like minded people to form long term musical bonds. I am not interested in music as an escape and excuse to overindulge. I am not interested working with self-centered, egotistical, or unreliable musicians. I will work as a gun for hire if necessary, but honestly prefer the chemistry of a bonded group of players.
I show up on time, prepared, ready to build up, jam, entertain, and tear down. I am a team player and totally understand the role and application of my instrument within a band. I get the whole stagecraft thing. I am classically trained and have hundreds of gigs under my belt (various capacities and genres, including rock/blues, CCW, jazz, and tribute scenes.). I can talk music all day, and fret (pun intended) over the musicality of everything I do.

Influences
This is so subjective.. I listen to a lot of music, and likely take bits and pieces of each into my playing, but I don't identify with any one specific player or band or style. I find myself more of a groove and pocket player than a bass player who wants to sound like a lead guitar player. I love listening to driving "straight 8" players as much as funk masters as much as foundational players as much as melodic and harmonic players. This help?
