ABOUT

Not looking to "make it", but to make great music and have a lot of fun in the process. Would love to record an album. I have a full time job, 2nd job seasonal as a photographer, and I am also an unpaid but very much appreciated roadie/emergency sound guy/support team for my college graduate kid with his own band that is going places. Very much in to rock/hard rock, but also enjoy blues, funk, swing, or just about anything that has a groove to it. I am not fast or flashy. More of an "in the pocket" player. I'll set the pace, let you do your thing, and fill in where needed. I have my own PA and recording gear. I am open to filling in short term depending on the project.

I have recorded samples of tracks I have played on, as well as full length video of gigs from my last project. I will post them here once I have them edited to fit, but will be happy to upload to Google Drive or Dropbox upon request.

I am also a seasoned concert/wedding photographer and videographer with a couple of music videos under my belt (jlanephotohtx.com). I'd love to do a music video that I also play in.

Intermediate level recording and mixing experience. I use Studio One Professional. I have portable recording equipment, make decent mixes (enough to help pieces individual pieces to make a demo level tune), but I am not going to claim to be able to master. I do have a professional studio I like to work with when the need arises.
