I play in an indie/blues-rock band currently and we gig pretty regularly around town -- but I'm looking for something a little different. Introducing BAD SALMON, a freaky fish swimming swiftly upstream against the current to spawn; whose flesh is tender and tough and teeming with vicious, delicious parasitic worms; who laughs in the face of grizzly bears and equally grizzle fly-fishers.
BAD SALMON doesn't have a genre -- doesn't understand the meaning of the term -- doesn't care if you do.
INSPIRATION. Watch these videos! If you can dig 'em, get at me, don't wait.
Her voice is definitely weird, but her lyrics are on-point and the band is tight as fuck. Viva DeConcini and the New York Heiroglyphics (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0tMw5sEpKOo)

Local MCs Hardwork Movement are a constant inspiration, but they need a little competition (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mZKnzG2QcB0)
