I am a bass player/singer seeking a new band for a serious musical project. I am 40 and I cannot wait to find musicians to play with. I gotta say that since I joined the Bay Area, I am willing to explore some good old punk rock or something cross over with metal. I have been playing bass and doing vocals for almost 23 years in various metal styles: from black metal in the early 90s (rebellious youth), death metal, heavy metal and progressive metal.
If you need a bass player and/backup vocalist, I am interested :-). And I don't mind to play only Bass but I play it in low B with 5 strings only :-).
With family and my job, I can rehearse twice a week at the most but this doesn't prevent me to be committed to musical project and work on my side. It has worked in my past experiences. Here are some samples of my last musical project Netherlife Resonance:

Influences
I like old stuff from old rock, punk rock to extreme death and grindcore, even some good underground hip hop stuff :-). Music is an endless treasure. However, just to call out few bands that really influence me I'll say: Metallica, Megadeth, Suicidal Tendencies, Slayer, Bad Religion, Rancid, NOFX, Lamb of God to some more extreme stuff like Death, Obituary, Brutal Truth, Napalm Death, Amon Amarth, etc...

EQUIPMENT
I own 2 5 strings bass guitars and A fender combo 500 amp (good for small gig and rehearsal). If the project or band is serious I am ready to invest for further materials for gigs.
