ABOUT

I am currently the drummer for San Francisco rock band The All New Appliances. I have played drum kit since 2000/2001 and bongos and djembe since 1998. I started out a musician when i was a youngster back in 1986 when I first joined a Boys Choir. I have since taken 8+ years of piano lessons and 4+ years of vocal lessons. I have not taken private drum lessons as for the most part I am self taught through be videos and taken a couple of percussion classes at the City College of San Francisco. i played drums in the City College Wednesday Jazz band under the direction of David Hardiman Sr. and Lenny Carlson from 2000-2011. I studied audio from 2012-2014 both studio and live also at the City College of San Francisco. I also own and run my own internet radio station so if any band or artist want's their music played on my station, I'd be more that glad to rep for you. The video I have put on here is from many moons ago when I was still studying at the City College of San Francisco. I am more of a pocket drummer than someone who often ventures outside of the box. I am also not a drummer who is most likely to want to run off a 2-3 chorus solo. Holding the rhythm down is more my style than being super flashy and showing of my "speed skills". I'm also one of the few drummers that I know that can read music. Most of my musician buddies can't which i feel is a lost art.

EQUIPMENT

Zildjian cymbals, Boso drumsticks, Remo heads, LP Bongos, LP Cajon, Djembe, Gammons double bass pedal. Laptop with Adobe Audition, Fruity Loop Studio, and Virtual DJ. I don't have full sized drum kit as i bought a smaller 18 inch drum kit so it would be much easier for me to transport places if need be for gigs. I also have mics so I can mic up my kit or record a practice if need be.
