Bass Guitar is my main instrument. Good ear, improv, listens, can read, quick study. Funk, rock, hip hop, electronic, downtempo, trip-hop. Played in cover bands doing anything from classic rock, southern rock, 80's metal and original funk, acid cartoon music, played with DJs at clubs. Gospel, Christian rock, orchestra in churches.
Looking to play music for fun on some local gigs, Art on the Avenue, St. Elmo's, hyper-local near Alexandria. I've been in cover bands and an all original band touring the east coast for a number of years. Not looking to do that. For the last 15 years I've played in churches doing everything from Christian rock, to gospel, to full-blown orchestra tunes. It's helped me keep my chops up. (I love Jesus but I do cuss and drink, so there's that:-)
