I'm a 42yr old drummer/singer-songwriter/producer looking to meet other local musicians and bands that want to make great music. I've been playing music or singing for the better part of 17 or years. I started with the trumpet and played that from 3rd through the 8th grade then I sang in church groups and chorales from that point until jan. 2011, I started playing the drums at the end of 2004 and have played at locals church from then until now. I love to learn new styles of music and new songs, and am dedicated to the craft. I've been producing for about 2years and have primarily been working with a local hip hop artist. Influences
There are far too many to list so I'll say I love all good music except I just can't get into death metal or trance. The last cd I bought was Jessie J, and the last song I listened to was "If you leave me now", by Chicago. Hope that helps
EQUIPMENT
My drumsticks are sound percussion 7A nylon (cheap I know but I save more money in the long run)
My cymbals are zildjian A series
The set is a 7-piece birch Mapex, the snares 14" Daisy cutter mapec
I also use a DW5000 single foot pedal. The software I use for production is Fruity Loops Producer XXL9.
