Band to Join.ABOUT
I just moved to the SB area from Chicago to begin a new job and sadly had to leave a great band. I've been playing in bands for 20+ yrs, have a professional rig, etc and would love to stay active in music. I also have years of studio experience.
My influences have been all over the place from R&B, blues, light jazz, funk, country and basically any danceable tunes that our band liked and we could pull off well.
Below is a link to my Chicago band, Suite Mollie Seven, that included a husband/wife vocal team, me on guitar and backup vocals, a keyboard, bass, drums, alto, tenor sax and t-bone horn section. We all had day jobs but still played out once or twice a month--mostly clubs and corporate gigs. We all really liked each other and had a great time.
