I'm a composer and multi instrumentalist but my best instrument is drums. I can read jazz sheets for drum set and can also sight read. I also know a fair amount of music theory. I spent 3 years of high school playing in the concert, marching, and jazz band, as well as managed my own metal band in high school for two years. I have experience on many different percussion instruments and am also a fairly skilled pianist. I can play many different styles on drums, but I'm especially good at setting a groove that is really felt by the audience and band. I am not a drummer that's just keeping time (i.e. Ringo), I try to add my own expression to the music and use the drum set to compliment the various melodic and harmonic textures in the music, while not detracting from them.
I'm laid back and easy going, but I take pride in being the best drummer I can be for the music. I'd probably be best fit in alternative rock, jazz, blues rock (i.e. Black Sabbath and Jimi Hendrix), doom metal/stoner metal, punk rock/pop punk, and indie. I'm best with medium tempo grooves, and I can't do helicopter death metal double bass (unfortunately), or super crazy blast beats, mostly because I'm not really interested in them.

I'm not as snooty as this may come off lol. Doing my best to explain music in language. Let's jam!
