Looking for a drummer/producer/multi instrumentalist to collaborate with.
I'm a vocalist. I rap, sing, beatbox. I also play a little guitar and bass, DJ, and make beats.
Lately I've been playing solo. Mostly freestyle/improv, looping and playing over top. It would be cool to incorporate some of that into a band as well.
You can hear and see some stuff I've done on U toob, FB, reverbnation, and IG. Joseph Gemmill. Channel J. Dadical.
If you're a drummer that incorporates a Roland,Korg, or any electronic drum pad into your set and this sounds like something you'd be into hit me up. I'd like to build from there if possible. Even start as a 2 piece.
Eventually I'd like to put a group together. Unique, genre blending, entertaining, danceable at times, lots of breaks, breaks inside breaks, high energy at times, roller coaster of emotions, lots of groove, funk/hip hop/blues/rock/reggae with elements of electronic. Raw and in your face at times. I've got lot's of songs.. some on paper, some partially recorded etc. Just need others to manifest them.
If I was really feeling it I'd also down to join w/ others who need a vocalist, emcee, beatboxer or a DJ. But my main goal is to put a group together that I front.
Email me here: free_shineproductions at ya who, or message me on FB or U toob. I've got some mostly older videos on U toob... If you search for Joseph Gemmill, Channel J or Dadical you'll find em. Although the sound I'm going for in my "dream project" is different.
I've been involved in acting/performance art/dance as well so I really dig the art of the performance along w/ the music.
