ABOUT

I play with an excellent drummer but we need a bass and keys (preferably with vocab ability). We're both fairly proficient and we have good attitudes and good equipment. Wanna start an original project and try playing some gigs around Houston. I have a lot of material but most of it is incomplete (needing lyrics or a bridge or something). So collaboration is encouraged. With the right band members, we could have a full album of tunes by the end of the summer or sooner I think. I sing well (on key) but I don't have a voice that grabs people. I'll be the singer if no one else is inclined but I like the idea of sharing the vocal responsibilities equally. I also envision a band that utilizes three and four part vocal harmony.

I used to play music for a living, but then I became a teacher. I really miss it. I don't think I could tour because I have a steady job and a one-year-old son. Maybe once in awhile if the money is good.

EQUIPMENT

American Fender Telecaster through an old Fender Musicmaster bass amp. I know it sounds dumb but my tone is absolutely gorgeous. Fairly basic pedal board but in the process of building it. I don't like a lot of effects, just wah and distortion.
